Popular South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, formerly known as Samantha Akkineni, is best known for her roles in Telugu and Tamil movies.

She was born to a Telugu father and a Malayalam mother on April 28, 1987, in Tamil Nadu. She has two older brothers but was raised in Chennai and is the family’s youngest child.
