Speculations Regarding the Future of MS Dhoni’s Career
After the World Cup, there were a lot of rumors about Dhoni’s international career. He put an end to all of those rumors in his own way more than a year later when he posted a video on his Instagram account saying that he was retiring from international cricket.
However, Dhoni is still active in the Indian Premier League. In point of fact, he still serves as the captain of the Chennai Super Kings.
CSK’s poor performance in the Indian Premier League in 2020 asked if MS Dhoni would play the following season.
In response, he stated that he would definitely be participating in the IPL in 2021, which is exactly what he did.
There were a lot of rumors going around that MS Dhoni would finally retire from the Indian Premier League by the time 2022 rolled around.
After all, a mega auction was a possibility, but the CSK management didn’t want to keep Dhoni even though he was 40 years old.
Although Dhoni did hand over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja before the season began, Jadeja returned it to Dhoni in the middle of the season. This allowed Dhoni to continue serving as captain.
On Friday, CSK will compete in the final league game of the IPL 2022 season. They will not be participating in the playoffs in any capacity.
This will be the final game of the season for the Chennai Super Kings. There were rumors going around that this might be Dhoni’s last season,
just like there were during the two seasons prior to this one and during the current one as well. Before the coin toss, Ian Bishop,
who is widely considered to be one of the game’s most talented commentators, was also seen holding a chit in his hand.

It is currently unknown whether or not Dhoni will be 41 years old when the next season of the Indian Premier League begins; it is currently unknown whether or not the captain of the Chennai Super Kings will play for the team again in 2019.
