The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) administers the most competitive and demanding Civil Service Examination (CSE) in the nation. Every year, millions of people take the IAS (UPSC CSE) exam, but only a select few succeed. And for that reason, competition is getting stiffer every year. Therefore, IAS candidates who are preparing for the IAS (UPSC, CSE) 2022 must be committed, and candidates who want to pass the IAS 2022 must focus on two key strategies: First, pick the appropriate books, then enthusiastically concentrate on your preparation. The Age Limit of the UPSC Civil Service exam: The Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age and must not be more than 32 years of age.

General Category & EWS: 32 years with a total of 6 attempts. OBC: 35 years with 9 attempts and SC/ST: 38 years with unlimited attempts.

Get aware of the Examination date

Knowing the exam date will assist you in planning and organizing your study schedule. The number of study hours is up to you, depending on the various subjects. Additionally, it will aid in your preparation. Avoid taking exams outright if you are unprepared. The number of attempts is therefore restricted. If you are more inexperienced, dedicate 12 to 15 months to your preparation.

Work on Foundation

The UPSC syllabus ranges from 8th to 12th grade. NCERT is not only the best for laying the groundwork, but it is also an excellent source of information, particularly for beginners. They are directly asked questions that are both introductory and informative. Begin by reading in repeat mode and marking the outlines of each subject.

Practice for CSAT

Candidates must practice the CSAT paper, even if it is only for qualifying purposes. because in order to qualify for the Mains, students must obtain more than 33% or 66 marks. As a result, don’t stop practicing the CSAT paper. Answer writing practice and revision are critical components of UPSC exam preparation. However, it is difficult to qualify if you do not prepare with mock tests. As a result, each topper employs a strategy to achieve their goal.
